Our fun family game is Social Aussie Rules Football or AFLS, the "AFL" meaning the Australian Football League game and the "S" meaning Social, it is a family adaption of the main game, but for all families to enjoy together. The game is played in 4 x 10 minute quarters, with refreshment breaks and time for skills practice and even photos, or just hanging out meeting and enjoying new friendships.

We play these games just to introduce the main game and rules of Aussie Rules football to the general Rome GA community, however, in a safe and welcoming way. We supply everything, team shirts, footballs and the volunteers so you can just relax and enjoy yourself. Wearing cleats or 'footy boots' as we call them, is not fully required, but helpful.

Importantly, the game can be played by anyone really from 12 to 72 years of age and yes we have had people both those ages play here in Rome. Also any physical fitness or skill level is welcomed. This is not about being the best every week, just getting out there and having fun learning a new sport and getting a little more active than you have been. We will even let you try your Aussie accent... once.! haha.

Come down on Sunday afternoons at 3:00pm. There is no cost and refreshments are provided as well. What more could you possibly need for a fun filled Sunday afternoon with the family? Games are played at the Riverside Baptist Church Field, Ash St NE Rome GA.
